For many veterans, the battle doesn’t end when they leave the battlefield—it follows them home, embedded in the struggles of
PTSD, TBI, and MST.
Mission and Values
Our Commitment to Veterans…
We refuse to let them fight alone.
Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Military Sexual Trauma (MST) — These invisible wounds do not just affect the veteran; they strain families, create distance, and make it harder to reconnect with the world they once knew. Spouses, children, and parents witness the struggle firsthand, longing for the return of the person they remember, while the veteran battles to regain a sense of normalcy.
We Are Not Just A Service Dog Provider—We Are A Lifeline.
Our Mission
K9 Partners for Patriots is dedicated to preventing veteran suicide and fostering hope for those battling PTSD, TBI, and MST. Through the unique bond formed while training their service dogs, we guide veterans from self-doubt to renewed confidence, promoting mental wellness through in-house counseling and reconnection in a supportive community.
Our mission is to restore autonomy, stability, and independence to those who have sacrificed for our nation.
We do this by forging lifesaving partnerships between veterans and highly capable service dogs.
The service dog is not a cure, but it is a lifeline—a steadfast presence offering real-time, task-based support that empowers veterans to manage their symptoms and take back control.

A service dog provides grounding during panic attacks, creates space in crowded areas, and redirects a veteran from flashbacks. Trained to sense distress before it escalates, they interrupt anxiety and hypervigilance before they become overwhelming. Veterans who once felt trapped now move with renewed confidence, knowing their service dog is ready to assist in crisis moments.
Mental Wellness Support
Mental wellness support is woven into every aspect of our mission. Our Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides professional counseling, ensuring that veterans receive comprehensive mental health care alongside canine-assisted therapy. This integrated approach enhances long-term success, setting veterans up for stability beyond training.
Our commitment does not end at graduation. Through our Veteran Services Program, we provide lifelong support, including annual recertification, training refreshers, and behavioral wellness monitoring. We ensure that every veteran-canine team remains effective, confident, and fully equipped to navigate life together.
Our Vision
We envision a world where every veteran facing PTSD, TBI, or MST finds renewed purpose and strength. A world where veteran suicide is replaced with hope, healing, and empowerment. A world where veterans transition from isolation to camaraderie and from self-doubt to confidence.
Our Values
Our values drive everything we do – empathy, empowerment, integrity, gratitude, knowledge, inclusivity, community, and collaboration. We believe in the power of family, the strength of shared purpose, and the unwavering commitment to those who have given everything in service to this nation.
