Join Our Fierce Family of Veteran & K9 Support Volunteers
Our veterans and rescue dogs need your time and talents!
Volunteers are the lifeblood of this organization. Our veteran support volunteers enable us to fortify our mission to end veteran suicide. They possess a kind compassion and understanding for our veterans with PTSD, traumatic brain injury, and military sexual trauma. Without them, everything that needs doing simply couldn’t get done.
We have individuals who host events to raise money for our programs. They help out in the office or transport dogs from shelters. They attend speaking engagements and lead tours of the training campus. They socialize with students and their families and foster dogs in preparation for being matched with a veteran to become a service dog.
Our staff can use help with various office duties during the week. Volunteers are needed to stuff envelopes, answer phones, data entry and provide support.
Hours of Volunteering: During business hours, 8:30 AM – 3 PM.

Most Urgent Need
We are in need of short-term dog fosters. The foster dog may be a rescue dog or a dog recovering from a medical procedure. Fosters provide valuable feedback about the dog in preparation for being matched with a veteran to become a Service Dog.
Hours of Volunteering: Typically 1 to 6 months.
K9 Partners for Patriots provide food, veterinary care, and supplies.
If you want to become a dog foster, please complete the foster form HERE. Otherwise, complete the form below and our volunteer coordinator will be in touch. Thank you for your consideration. Your support is appreciated!
