Quilts of Honor Florida
Quilts of Honor is a national nonprofit organization devoted to honoring members of our active military and veterans with handmade quilts.
The local chapter of Quilts of Honor Florida, based in the Brandon-Riverview area, reached out to us with a proposal to provide “Quilted Hugs of Gratitude” to the veterans graduating from our basic classes. Each veteran receives a one-of-a-kind quilt. The service dogs play a crucial role in the program, so the quilters take it upon themselves to create quilts specifically for them too.
