Request A Speaker

At K9 Partners for Patriots, We Welcome Opportunities to Educate Communities About PTSD, Veteran Mental Wellness, and the Life-Saving Role of Rescue Dogs Trained to be Service Dogs.

Sharing our mission is an important part of helping the public understand the challenges veterans face and the hope that grows when a veteran and dog begin their training journey together.

Thank you for your interest in inviting a member of our organization to speak at your event.

Before You Submit A Request

K9 Partners for Patriots is not a typical service dog placement organization. To ensure your request is the right fit, please review these important details before submitting your form.

Our Program Works Differently

  • We do not place pre-trained service dogs with veterans.
  • Veterans are matched with carefully evaluated rescue dogs and train together through a structured 6-month program under the guidance of certified trainers.
  • Because our model is veteran-centered and training-intensive, our veteran–dog teams do not serve as public demonstration teams and are not available for ongoing speaking circuits.

This is a deeply personal journey for each veteran we serve. Participation in events is optional, and we honor their comfort, privacy, and availability.

Topics We Can Speak About

Our team is available for speaking engagements on subjects directly aligned with our mission, including:

  • Understanding PTSD, TBI, and MST in the veteran community
  • The impact of rescue dogs paired with veterans
  • The 6-month K9 Partners for Patriots training model
  • The bond between a veteran and their service dog
  • Mental wellness and the importance of community support
  • Nonprofit mission, rescue partnerships, and veteran outreach

We do not provide speakers for topics unrelated to veteran mental wellness or service dog training.

Speaker Availability

Speaking engagements are reviewed based on:

  • Alignment with our mission
  • Staff availability
  • Location, travel distance, or virtual format
  • Sensitivity to the needs and comfort levels of the veterans we serve

Please understand that availability is limited and not all requests can be accommodated.

Before You Invite a Veteran-Dog Team

We ask that all event organizers understand:

  • Our graduates are not official spokespeople for the organization.
  • Participation is voluntary and based on their personal comfort and schedule.
  • We do not “assign” veteran–dog teams to outside organizations.
  • We prioritize events that respect the emotional and mental well-being of our veterans.

If your event requires a veteran–dog team specifically, please note this in the form. We will review the request, but we cannot guarantee availability.
